Julius Constantine Motal (s. 1990) on amerikkalainen valokuvaaja ja kirjailija, joka on työskennellyt Turkissa, Kreikassa ja USAssa. Hänen työnsä keskittyy ihmisoikeuksiin ja sosiaalisen oikeudenmukaisuuden kysymyksiin. Hän käsittelee myös käynnissä olevaa pakolaiskriisiä Kreikassa ja Turkissa sekä "Black Lives Matter" -liikettä New Yorkissa.

Julius Constantine Motal (b.1990) is an American photographer and writer who has worked in Turkey, Greece and the USA. His professional work focuses on human rights and social justice issues, including the ongoing refugee crisis in Greece and Turkey and the Black Lives Matter movement in New York.

"The photos in this exhibition are from an ongoing personal project called “life and other ephemera." They’re fragments of lived experiences captured with my phone on the way between places. Life is a series of journeys big and small, whether it’s to a deeper level of understanding or to the market. It’s in the small journeys where life fades into the background, and with a little awareness, we catch glimpses of life as it passes us by. These photographs are from those small journeys."
